Welcome!

Sign our declaration to support Pennsylvania's Promise for Children!

Pennsylvania is rich in natural resources, but our greatest resource, our young children, that will lead us into the future. Quality early learning can open the doors of opportunity for every child to do well in school, in the workforce, and in life. Pennsylvania’s Promise for Children is a campaign to raise awareness about the importance of providing every young child in Pennsylvania with access to quality early learning opportunities.

Here are six simple things you can do to support Pennsylvania's Promise for Children:

  1. Sign our declaration to support Pennsylvania’s Promise for Children.
  2. Learn simple ways that you can support learning in the young children in your life.
  3. Spend some time with the young children in your community.
  4. Talk to child care programs in your neighborhood, your workplace, or at your place of worship about Keystone STARS.
  5. Ask your employer to provide resources to employees on choosing quality early learning opportunities.
  6. Find out if your school district is working with local child care, Head Start and preschool programs to get your community’s preschoolers ready for kindergarten.

Pennsylvania’s Promise for Children is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Build Initiative and the Pennsylvania Early Learning Keys to Quality, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL). Help us fulfill Pennsylvania's Promise for Children!
